I'm Duncan Joly, a computer science student at the University of Minnesota with a focus on wireless communications and space-systems engineering. Over the past two years I've led a team of volunteer engineers at the UMN Small Satellite Research Lab, building end-to-end data links for scientific spacecraft. As a Wireless Research Intern at Two Six Technologies, I created a GPS emulation suite for HackRF SDRs and expanded the company's SDR abstraction layer, delivering robust, test-ready software. My research contributions have been published on arXiv and presented at ACM conferences, and I've contributed code to the Linux kernel and OpenAirInterface. Combining hands-on hardware work, open-source development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, I'm eager to bring cutting-edge communication solutions to industry challenges.
